Local Plan
Some Key Points:
(1) Community Hospital at Lethangie
(2) Timeshare/leisure development at Cavelstone
Farm
(3) 7.6 ha new Industrial/Business land
(4) Provision of land for some 1000 houses
in Kinross-shire.
(5) Removal of "Area of Great Landscape Value"
from east of Loch Leven
The purpose of the Local Plan is to provide local guidance on the sort
of development that is considered appropriate for the Kinross-shire area
and where this should take place over the next 10 years.
Copies of the draft plan can be inspected free of charge at the Kinross
Library and council offices in Kinross, where it also may be purchased
for £10. The period of public consultation runs until June 2nd.
The council has arranged the following evening meetings to present the
plan and answer any questions on the plan.
Tuesday April 25 Lomond Country
Inn, Kinnesswood.
Thursday April 27 Kinross Town Hall.
Tuesday May 2
Crook of Devon Village Hall.
Thursday May 4
Blairingone Primary School.
Tuesday May 9
Milnathort Primary School.

Village Hall.
Doors will open at 6.30 p.m. to view a small exhibition and the meetings
will start at 7.30 p.m. Further information on the Plan can
